England were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw by Slovenia in their final Euro 2024 warm-up game. Phil Foden was twice denied by Jan Oblak in the first half, while Harry Kane missed a glorious chance to break the deadlock after the break. Jude Bellingham showed signs of fatigue in the second half after playing 90 minutes against Hungary on Saturday. England will now head to the Euros with a number of question marks hanging over their team. Gareth Southgate's side have not scored in their last two games and have looked disjointed in attack. Foden and Kane were both guilty of missing good chances against Slovenia, while the likes of Raheem Sterling and Jadon Sancho have also struggled for form in recent weeks. Southgate has a number of decisions to make ahead of England's opening game against Croatia on Sunday. He must decide whether to stick with Foden and Kane in attack, or whether to bring in the likes of Marcus Rashford or Ollie Watkins. He also needs to decide whether to keep Bellingham in the team, or whether to give him a rest after his exertions against Hungary. England will be hoping for a better performance when they face Croatia on Sunday. They will need to be more clinical in front of goal and more organised in defence if they are to get their Euro 2024 campaign off to a winning start.
